The Oticon CROS/CROS PX Rechargeable is designed for people with unaidable hearing loss in one ear. Worn on the poorer ear, its microphones capture surrounding sounds and wirelessly transmit them to a compatible Oticon hearing aid worn on the better ear using Near-Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) technology.

For users with normal hearing in the better ear, the device operates as a CROS system. If the better ear also has hearing loss and requires amplification, it can be configured as a BiCROS solution. Its rechargeable design provides convenient daily use without frequently replacing disposable batteries.
